Recap: Essentials in Pain Management: Update 2018

On Tuesday, November 13th, the Department of Anesthesiology Essentials Pain Management: Update 2018 continuing medical education (CME) conference. This CME accredited one day conference will inform attendees of several of the latest non-opioid treatment strategies in the management of pain and its co-morbidities. This conference included an understanding of the role of therapeutic interventions including but not limited to spinal cord stimulation, acupuncture, psychotherapy, nutrition, radiofrequency ablation, transcranial magnetic stimulation, and stem cell therapy. This event featured experts in the field of pain management, panel discussions, and question and answer sessions. The 2019 Essentials in Pain Management conference is scheduled for November 12th.
