Recap: Department of Anesthesiology Represents CUIMC at 2018 ASA Meeting

As the 2018 American Society of Anesthesiologist Annual Meeting comes to a close, we would like to salute our faculty, residents, and trainees who attended and represented our department and the institution so well. The 2018 ASA Conference took place in San Francisco, California and bridged together research and technology and patient care while facilitating collaboration with more than 14,000 peers, thought leaders and anesthesia providers from more than 80 countries. Members of our department participated in panel discussions, problem-based learning sessions, and simulation demonstrations.

Highlights from department presentations during 2018 ASA Conference

Some highlights included Resident and Faculty research presentations, Dr. Allison Lee's presentation on serious games used in simulation education, the Columbia University ASA Soirée, and Dr. Charles Emala receiving the FAER Mentorship Award.
