Congratulations, Dr. Elvedin Lukovic

Congratulations to Dr. Elvedin Lukovic, recipient of Stony Wold-Herbert Fund Research Grant. Dr. Lukovic joined our department over 5 years ago when he was recruited into a special research track within our clinical residency program known as the Virginia Scholars Society. Dr. Lukovic was in the top 5% of this highly selected pool of national applicants. Dr. Lukovic’s laboratory and clinical interests in pulmonary diseases position him very well for a translational research career in intensive care medicine with a focus on pulmonary diseases.

The Stony Wold-Herbert Fund Research Grant provides funding for the clinical investigation of respiratory diseases and promotes the training of teachers, scientific researchers, and clinicians in the pulmonary field.
