Department Faculty Represent at 2017 PGA Meeting

From December 8th through 12th members of the Department of Anesthesiology here at Columbia University Medical Center participated in the 2017 PostGraduate Assembly in Anesthesiology (PGA), hosted by the New York State Society of Anesthesiologist, where they participated in lectures, interactive workshops, mini workshops, problem-based learning discussions, focus sessions, and poster

presentations. It was an opportunity to share experiences, discuss new techniques and network with colleagues in the field of Anesthesiology from around the world. Participants were able to share experiences with fellow practitioners and scientists and had the opportunity to interact with other clinicians. The goal was to exchange ideas and practices and identify knowledge and practice gaps within the field of Anesthesiology and address them through a variety of teaching techniques.
